Thy Kingdom Come

Author Don Helin will be at the store Saturday, August 8th, to sign copies of his suspense/thriller, Thy Kingdom Come.

Don grew up in Minneapolis where he attended Washburn High School. After graduation from the University of Minnesota, he entered the U.S. Army and served in posts across the United States and overseas in Vietnam and Germany.

During his time in the military, Don spent three tours (seven years) in the Pentagon. He uses this experience to create Colonel Sam Thorpe. In the fictionalized world of Thy Kingdom Come, Sam is a member of the Pentagon's anti-terrorist task force. He is dispatched undercover to stop The Patriots, a white supremacist militia plotting to steal nuclear material and build dirty bombs. His lifeline to the task force is FBI agent Alex Prescott, a kick-ass woman with spiked blond hair and personality to match.

Don now makes his home in the hills of central Pennsylvania where he is working on his next Sam Thorpe thriller. He manages to return to his Minnesota roots to visit family and friends on a regular basis.

"Reminiscent of the best work of Stephen Hunter and Vince Flynn. Terrific in all respects." ~Jon Land, bestselling author, A Walk in the Darkness
